By using MenuScan ("the App"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

MenuScan allows users to take photos of restaurant menus and provides AI-generated nutritional insights. You agree to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws.

2. Data and Privacy

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information. All data is tied to anonymous identifiers and used for product analytics, advertising, and in-app functionality. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

3. Purchases and Payments

MenuScan offers paid features via Apple In-App Purchases. All payments are processed by Apple. We do not store payment information directly.

4. Restoring Purchases

Because MenuScan uses anonymous identifiers stored on your device, uninstalling the App will remove your purchase history from our system.

• Automatic restoration is not possible after uninstalling.
• We may restore purchases manually if you provide proof of payment, including the time and date of purchase as shown on your Apple receipt or statement.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and ensuring that you do not uninstall the App if you wish to retain automatic access to paid features.

6. No Guarantees

MenuScan provides calorie and macro information based on AI estimates. While we aim for accuracy, nutritional data may vary and is not guaranteed to be medically or nutritionally precise.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
